YOU GOT THIS!
One of the lessons that is taught and remains a constant throughout the Girls on the Run program is to set goals, work hard, believe in yourself, and achieve them with confidence and pride. For 3rd-8th grade girls, these life skills are so important. Becoming a Girls on the Run SoleMate — our charity running program — enables us as parents, coaches, friends, family, or supporters to show these girls that those lessons are just as important as an adult. Here’s how it works… sign up for an event (It can be anything! A run, bike, hike, sail, obstacle course, etc.) set your goals, raise pledges of encouragement, and run with a purpose. All pledges go to the GOTRVT Every Girl Fund and help ensure that these vital life lessons are accessible to every Vermont girl via our program. Whether it’s your first 5k or fifth marathon, becoming a SoleMate means you’re not only bettering yourself but you’re helping to empower our next generation of women. Strike up some fun, healthy competition and encourage your friends or family to do it with you. It’ll take passion and dedication, but we know you’ve got what it takes!
Becoming a SoleMate is free! And if exercising your power to make a difference wasn’t enough, all SoleMates receive an official “SoleMates Club” package, a personal webpage to collect pledges, a digital guide for training, and an invitation to our private SoleMates Community Facebook group where everyone can exchange stories, tips, advice, and cheer each other on! Any SoleMates who go above and beyond with pledges will receive awesome swag for each encouragement level reached.
ARE YOU READY?… BECOME A SOLEMATE!
